The Adelaide Hills, where Ros Jennings grew up, can get cold at times - but never Switzerland-type cold.

However Ros is managing to keep nice and warm as a lounge singer and entertainer in the town of Davos. It's the latest gig in a string of international shows for the Adelaide musician, who propelled herself into the overseas music market thanks to a lack of full-time opportunities in the industry here, as her funds ran dry.

Ros spent many years performing in bands both in Adelaide and in Melbourne....but her travels have seen her entertain audiences through Japan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Croatia, Netherlands, Germany, and Ireland.

And she could never have guessed she'd one day be entertaining the Australian delegation to the World Economic Forum, led by Julia Gillard.

When Ros Jennings caught up with Matt and Dave, it was just after midnight in Davos and she'd just come off the stage...
