Switzerland

Park Hotel, Weggis

Weggis is often referred to as the "Riviera of Central Switzerland" due to its mild climate.

Situated on the banks of Lake Lucerne, Park Hotel Weggis is a luxurious hotel with superb dining options and wellness facilities in peaceful surroundings.

Ros provided piano vocal entertainment in the intimate Lalique Caviar Bar.

Morosani Schweizerhof Hotel, Davos Platz

Repeat engagements

Davos hosts the World Economic Forum every year in January. This year, Ros entertained VIPs and dignitaries, and also performed at a special function for the US Embassy in Swittzerland.

The Morosani Schweizerhof lies in the heart of Davos and is ideally located for ski fanatics. Built between 1869 and 1870, it has been in the Morosani family for over 100 years. At 1560 metres above sea level, Davos is the highest town in Europe.

Welcome to World Cup Fever 2006 in Hamburg!

Five matches were played in Hamburg, and Ros was delighted to be entertaining team players, officials, media and of course, the fans from Germany, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ivory Coast, Holland, Czech Republic, Italy, Ukraine and Saudi Arabia.

The lively atmosphere in the bar made for a great place to continue the celebrations after the game, and Ros was pleased to be part of the action.

Casablanca Bar, Waldshut

Ralf Hezel created the Casablanca Bar concept in 1986 and hasn't changed the successful formula since. The only place in town with live music, this funky little bar packs a crowd every night.

Hotel Nassauer Hof, Wiesbaden

Kings, Princes and Dukes once chose to reside at this Grand Hotel in Wiesbaden; spa guests were later to follow. Today it is one of Europe's few remaining Grand Hotels and an established business and conference hotel. This opulent Wilhelmian structured hotel, centrally situated in Wiesbaden, near Frankfurt and the German Rhine Valley, is a luxury hotel of the highest order.

Rica Nidelven Hotel, Trondheim

The Rica Nidelven Hotel is situated on the Nidelven River, in the ancient city of Trondheim. The Broen Piano Bar extends 17 metres out in the river and has beautiful views from all sides.

Trondheim was founded in 997 AD by the Viking King Olav Tryggvason. Today, it is the third largest city in Norway.

Situated about half-way between Innsbruck and Salzburg, the brand new A-ROSA Resort in Kitzbühel opened in December 2005.

Built in the style of a Medieval castle, the hotel offers a range of health and beauty treatments, and live musical entertainment in the evenings.

As well as being a Spa Town, Kitzbühel is also famous for the Hahnenkamm Downhill Ski Race, the most challenging on the World Circuit.

Ireland

Atlantic Coast Hotel, Westport (Mayo)

August 2004

The 4-star Atlantic Coast Hotel in Westpost, County Mayo, was converted from an 18th century mill. It overlooks Clew Bay and its 365 islands, and Ireland's most famous Holy mountain, Croagh Patrick.

Ros played in the Harbourmaster Bar, entertaining both locals and tourists alike. The area is popular for boating, angling golf and mountain climbing.

Netherlands

Steigenberger Kurhaus Hotel, Scheveningen

The Kurzaal bar on the North Sea is a popular and convivial venue. The stage of the famous Kurhaus concert hall used to be on this very spot.

Many famous entertainers performed here, among them Duke Ellington, Edith Piaff, Bing Crosby, Yehudi Menuin and the Rolling Stones, who gave their shortest performance ever here.
